Top 10 Podcasts (Personal Preference)

Hope everyone is doing well during the pandemic.


Staying home is the safest, but definitely not the funniest.


Human Being is social animal, the feeling of isolation might make us feel sicker than the virus. With some noise, discussions of people, the feeling of anxiety will soon disappear.


If you are tired of reading, or would like to listening something while cooking, or just getting bored of staying home, let's check out some interesting Podcasts for Free.


Today, I am going to give you some recommendations of Podcasts, that I have been listening, some are way before the pandemic happened. Some might not be having amazingly top ratings, but are definitely worth checking out.


The list will be separated into 4 categories: Inspiration and Business, Motivation, Interesting Stuff and Travel. It will be my Top 10 plus 3 Bonus


A. Inspiration and Business


1. Simon Sinek Interviews


Podcast of interviews with the famous optimist, author “start with Why”


His inspiring speeches about leadership and finding ones’ WHY is fascinating.


*I could not find this on Apple Podcast recently. But Simon Sinek has a YouTube channel that updated often.



2. TED Talks Daily


No introduction needed, TED Talks Daily provides insights of professionals from different sectors, all around the world.







3. Jim Collins Audio Clips


This is a superb Podcast from author of "Good to Great"- Jim Collins


Too bad that this podcast last updated in year 2015.


But, still worth listening to.






4. Zappos Podcast


This is a very underrated Podcast (IMO), it is from associates of Zappos.


An amazing, superb customer service company, happens to sell Shoes online.


The insights from employees themselves, viewing the company is inspiring.




5. Business Wars


This is an interesting Podcast, comparing different businesses and the stories behind.


from Mc Donald vs Burger King to Boeing vs Airbus







6. BONUS: eCornell Keynotes


Well, this is not a Podcast, but the keynotes from eCornell covered a lot of sectors.


For whom would like to learn more and get ready for a new start after the pandemic, this is a great website.


The keynotes having professionals from the field and professors of the University.



B. Motivation


1. Unlocking Us with Brené Brown


It is a relatively new Podcast, first aired on 20 March 2020. About relationships, connecting with people.









2. The Happiness Lab with Dr. Lauries Santos


It is a Podcast aired since year 2019, a lot of motivating talks and stories.


Recently having topics covering Coronavirus, dealing with Crisis, Self isolation loneliness, etc.







3. The Life Coach School Podcast


Podcast aired since year 2014, very well life coaching podcast, dealing with emotions. Giving real life examples during the show.


Very inspiring.



C. Interesting Stuff



1. Couples Therapy With Candice and Casey


This is from the famous Youtuber, Film maker- Casey Neistat.


The latest update was in April 2019.


But it is a interesting Podcast, to "see" how he is off camera, with his wife- Candice Pool


2. Stuff You Should Know


This is an interesting Podcast, having updates very frequent.


Topics from Bonsai (plant) to AI (Artificial Intelligence)






C. Travel


1. Talking Points


This is the Podcast hosted by The Points Guy (TPG), Brian Kelly


TPG has an official website (blog) and YouTube channel about utilizing credit card points, introduction of credit cards at the States.


Bonus: 研究生Talk


This is a Mandarin Audio's Podcast, from a famous Youtuber, Blogger in Taiwan.


Talks about travelling, airline miles etc








These are the Podcasts that I would personally recommend. Let's utilise the additional time we normally wouldn't have during the pandemic.


Listening ideas and insights from others would open up our minds and be inspired. It is indeed a difficult time, but we should always look at the bright side.


When everything is back to normal, we will always be ready for what is upcoming.
