Due to the arising number of Covid-19 infections, the regulations on Social Distancing/ Curfew/ Control movement had been tightened since then. People are advised not to leave their home in order to control the spread of virus.

The most common inconvenience faced by some people would be being forced to prepare their meals. In Thailand, the night markets and restaurants had been forced to a closure as crowd control. Only take away is allowed in restaurants. Instead of leaving the accommodation or having tight schedule while work from home, food delivering is one of the best options for filling up ones' tummy.

UnionPay has teamed up with GrabFood (one of the most common used food delivery service in Thailand) to provide promotional code of 120.- THB* discount.

Although limited quota is provided, this is a great move from UnionPay to deliver heartfelt moment to its' users.

The promotional code "UPFOOD" is offered to both Debit and Credit cards' holders.

In Thailand, Bangkok Bank provides Debit Cards in UnionPay as payment network. While Krungthai Bank and Kasikorn Bank are the only banks provide UnionPay's Credit Cards.

I believe that other payment networks would have do the same sooner or later.

Competitions between companies are always great and appreciated, as better products would be introduced. Hence, the users, namely customers will always be receiving the most benefits.

Please check out the article I have written about Krungthai Bank's UnionPay Credit Cards.

Stay Safe, Stay Save, Stay Home.
